Unless expressly agreed in writing, our services do not include structural, building, asbestos, or specialist works beyond electrical installation and maintenance. You are responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible and safe for the works to be carried out.
3. User Obligations and Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about the property, existing electrical installation, and any known defects or hazards;
- Ensure safe, reasonable, and unobstructed access to the premises, including power supply, water, parking, and any necessary permissions;
- Notify us of any occupants, pets, vulnerable persons, or special site conditions that may affect the work;
- Obtain any required permissions, consents, licences, landlord approvals, or third-party authorisations before work begins;

- Co-operate with any testing, certification, or inspection required for the work;
- Pay all invoices in accordance with the agreed payment terms;
- Comply with all reasonable instructions provided by us for safety and operational reasons.
You acknowledge that we may suspend or delay work if unsafe conditions exist, if required information is not provided, or if access is not available. Any resulting additional costs may be charged to you.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions
Prices, deposits, and payment schedules will be set out in our quotation, estimate, invoice, or written agreement. Unless otherwise stated:
- Quotes are valid for the period specified in the quote or, if no period is stated, for a reasonable period only;
- We may require a deposit or staged payments, particularly for larger projects such as rewiring or EV charger installation;
- Payment is due on the date stated on the invoice or upon completion of the work, as applicable;
- Materials may be charged separately unless expressly included in the quoted price;
- Additional work requested by you or required due to unforeseen issues will be charged in addition to the original price;
- All sums are payable in pounds sterling unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is late, we reserve the right to charge interest and recover reasonable costs incurred in pursuing overdue amounts, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We may also suspend further work, withhold certification or documentation where lawful, and recover any reasonable losses caused by non-payment.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel a booking by giving us notice by telephone or email using the contact details set out in these Terms of Service. Where work has been scheduled, we ask that you provide reasonable notice of cancellation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Deposits may be non-refundable to the extent they cover administration, scheduling, or materials already ordered;
- If you cancel after we have ordered materials or incurred costs, you may be responsible for those costs;
- If you cancel with insufficient notice, a cancellation fee may apply to reflect lost time, labour, and expenses;
- If we are unable to complete the work because of your failure to provide access, information, or necessary permissions, we may treat the booking as cancelled and charge for costs reasonably incurred;
- Refunds, if due, will be made only for amounts not already spent or committed on your behalf and may exclude completed works, labour already performed, and non-returnable materials.
If you are a consumer and a booking is made at distance or off-premises, any statutory cancellation rights that may apply under applicable law are preserved, subject to any lawful exceptions where services have begun with your express request or consent.
6. Liability Limitations
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for losses arising from incorrect information provided by you or from concealed defects, pre-existing faults, defective installations, or third-party interference;
- We are not responsible for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss;
- We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including material shortages, access problems, weather, or third-party delays;
- Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall be limited to the amount paid or payable for the specific work giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is not permitted by law;
- Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Any advice we provide regarding maintenance, safety, upgrades, or compliance is based on the information available at the time and should not be relied upon as a guarantee of future performance or condition.
